The National Research and Education Network (NREN) Tech Strategy Meeting and NREN Assembly will be held on October 16 and 17, 2023 at the Hotel OMNI Mont-Royal in Montreal.
We’re hosting other events, too!
The NREN Assembly will be followed by the CANARIE Summit on October 18 and 19 and a ½ day cybersecurity forum on the afternoon of October 19. All are invited to attend, and we’d love for you to join us.
CANARIE Summit (fee for registration)

Canadian SecuR&E Forum (no fee for registration)

Please note: Even though all are welcome to attend the inaugural SecuR&E Forum at no cost, travel reimbursement for this event is only available to CIP Primes and NCA Analysts. These individuals will receive separate emails with more information.

Hosted by CANARIE, the goal of the inaugural Canadian SecuR&E Forum is to start the community-building process by introducing those involved in cybersecurity to people and disciplines that they may not have previously encountered.

- Executives with cybersecurity-related responsibilities (e.g., CISOs, CIOs, Directors of Information Security, and similar roles).

- A non-refundable deposit for one night’s stay will be charged 72 hours before check-in.

- Valet parking: $41.75 plus applicable taxes (includes in and out privileges).
- Parking Supérieur available near the hotel: $16.53 plus applicable taxes (no in and out privileges).

Photo and Recording Policy
Any person who attends a CANARIE event or workshop grants permission to CANARIE to use and publish their image or likeness collected in connection with the event, for any usual and customary purpose of CANARIE, including promotion of CANARIE and its programs.

These images and/or recordings may be edited, printed, streamed, archived, broadcast, posted online and otherwise retained by CANARIE or made available to the public.
